The Packers returned to glory by winning another Super Bowl over the Pittsburgh Steelers in an exciting game.
The amount of injuries the Pack endured during the 2010 season was among the worst in the league.
Credit goes to General Manager Ted Thompson and Head Coach Mike McCarthy for assembling a roster that has the depth to deal with major injuries.
General
Manger Ted Thompson's eye for talent has
enabled the franchise to have some of the
best talent and depth in the league. He
has never been one to spend money on free
agents that do not fit the philosophy of
himself and coach Mike McCarthy. Consequently
the Packers are built for long term success.
Aaron Rodgers had an excellent
season solidifying his place as a top three quarterback in the league.
His passing yardage, completion percentage,
touchdown to interception ratio, and overall
poise was something to behold as he plays
the position at the highest level.
The
receiving unit is led by Donald
Driver and Greg Jennings. Throw in James Jones, Jordy Nelson, and rookie Randall Cobb and the unit is one of the best in the league.
With
Jermichael Finley coming back from injury it will be interesting to see how comfortable he will be this season.
Ryan Grant was the main guy in the backfield
but James Starks has taken over as the starter.
The defense was once
again led by cornerback Charles Woodson.
He is arguably the best defensive player
in the league. Overall the secondary is good considering the depth and talent.
The
linebacking unit is one of the best in the
league with Clay Matthews leading the unit.
Lambeau Field now has more premium seating
that was installed to sit on top of the general
seating in the bowl like facility.
Outside
of the facility is the Packers atrium where
fans can view a museum that chronicles the
history of one of the NFL's most storied
franchises. It is a walk thru time to see
nostalgic memories of players such as Bart
Starr, Paul Hourning, and Willie Davis.
Coach Vince Lomardi's presence is ominous
at the museum.

Winning back to back championships is something that only the New England Patriots have done in the past decade.
The Packers have all the key pieces in place so if they can avoid major injuries they will be in position for a deep postseason run.
